The tool list for this class is available here in pdf format.

Roy Underhill brings an infectious warmth and wit to woodworking unmatched by any other television show. Come spend time with Roy as you build a spring pole lathe using hand tools only to create this wonderful tool. Based on an early German design, it will run all day (or until your leg wears out). It is exceptionally stable and compact, built with keyed mortise and tenon joints throughout so it will last. You’ll learn to shave the spring poles and do some basic metal working as well for the lathe centers. This will be a level of woodworking that few get to experience and then you get to walk home with a working lathe. Your grandfather might not have had one but we’re betting he wished he did.
