Build this beautiful Arts & Crafts inspired garden bench in cedar. We built the first for use at the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland. Now you can build one for yourself to add grace and beauty to your garden or deck. This project will offer plenty of practice in measuring, cutting, and assembly techniques useful for a variety of carpentry projects including garden benches, trellises, and fences. You’ll get to do some fun shaping work and learn about finishes for outdoor pieces. Whether it’s for company or quiet contemplation you’ll feel proud to know you made this bench yourself. |
