Registration, Refunds & Cancellations:
Woodworking is a dangerous craft. It is also one that depends upon the individual to fully understand its consequences. Ignoring safety practices, using tools improperly, or operating tools under the influence of alcohol or drugs may lead to serious injury. Don't attempt any technique unless you fully understand it. It is our role to provide you with instruction so rely on us for assistance and guidance. There are no stupid questions you can ask, so please take advantage of our expertise. We will ask you to sign a liability awareness and release form before beginning any workshop.
We urge students to
register well in advance of any class or workshop. Many classes and
workshops fill quickly.
A fee of $25 is applied to all
cancellations up to 72 hours prior to any class or workshop.
No
refunds will be given after that time.
Same day registrations are
possible if there is still room.
Register for any class via Paypal by clicking on the Reg Online button next to the class description of your choice. Click on the Reg by Mail button to print and mail or drop off the completed registration form with a check payable to The Northwest Woodworking Studio. We urge students to register well in advance of any class or workshop. Many classes and workshops fill quickly.
A deposit of $250 holds your place in class. This is in addition to a $25 non-refundable registration fee that applies once per summer. This $25 charge is not reflected in the listed tuition costs as it only applies once per summer. The tuition balance is due 30 days prior to the start of the workshop.
Returning students who have taken a summer workshop in the past receive a $51 discount from their total.
Students may transfer from one workshop to another, space permitting and additional balances paid. To do so, please notify us at least 30 days before the start of the workshop for which you are currently registered.
Cancellations up to 30 days before any class are subject to a $125 cancellation fee in addition to the $25 registration fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the start of the workshop unless we are able to fill your spot.
It is our expressed policy not to sell or otherwise share customer name or contact information with other companies. This includes companies you might like. Any information provided to The Northwest Woodworking Studio will remain confidential. If you request information on classes, we will put your name on our mailing list.
