Treen is a broad classification of things made of wood that are not furniture. We all have some and have some that we love. Wood kitchenware is usually common, utilitarian, and practical. But it can also be well made, useful, and beautiful. Join us for a class in making your own kitchen utensils and have some fun with your woodworking. Making these tools mostly involves carving, shaping, and sanding, tasks that anyone can take on. Learn how to carve a spatula or spoon for your sauces or soups or a ladle for your stews. Make a tenderizing mallet or cutting board for your kitchen. Or make a tray all using simple hand and power tools. Spend some time in the shop making this treen kitchenware and you'll enjoy your time cooking even more.
